AMAN: Global Voices for Peace in the Home
Formed on December 7, 2006, the Aman Global Voices for Peace in the Home (Aman Network) is a network of organisations and individuals that aims to address and redress domestic violence against women and all those marginalised and exploited on the basis of gender, sexuality, abilities, socio-economic and religious background, in India and the Indian diaspora, at the national and global level. The network believes in the strength of collective processes to bring about social change, and harnesses the power of over 160 member organisations from across India and a few organisations from Canada, the USA and the UK. AMAN National Meeting at Bhopal: 2023
No of organisations attended: 26, Total participants- 47 The 14th National Aman meeting was held on 17th and 18th April, 2023 in Bhopal, MP. After a gap of three years the Network could organise its annual offline meeting marking a significant gathering of minds dedicated to fostering unity and collaboration. Participants engaged in lively discussions, sharing insights and strategies aimed at promoting peace and harmony across diverse communities. Workshops and seminars facilitated constructive dialogue, empowering attendees to explore innovative approaches to address societal challenges. The event culminated in a renewed commitment among stakeholders to work together towards a more inclusive and peaceful future.

Date: 28th to 30th September, No of organisations attended : 33, Total participants- 50 The 15th annual meeting of Aman National Network was held from 28th to 30th September 2024 in Patna. 50 members from 11 States participated in the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Akansha Seva Sadan, Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
